Our tornado shelters and safe rooms have been tested to withstand up to 250MPH winds. If you're looking for an EF rating for that wind speed check out our scale here to see just where that stacks up. Our shelters are battle tested and have been proven to be safe time and time again. Slope Front Tornado/Storm Shelters
In Oklahoma we have violent weather at times and need the protection of a tornado / storm shelter. Hausner's slope front tornado / storm shelters are specifically designed and constructed with your protection in mind. They are reinforced with fiber as well as steel rebar, and they are poured with a minimum of 6,000 psi concrete. At no extra charge every tornado / storm shelter comes equipped with a double handrail on the ladder-like steps, a gas operated door closer, 8" wind turbine for ventilation and a 6" vent.

Flat Top Tornado/Storm Shelters
When you live in Oklahoma, you are subject to violent storms. Tornado / storm shelters in Oklahoma, and the surrounding states need to be created to be safe. Hausner's flat top tornado / storm shelters are designed and constructed with your protection in mind. They are reinforced with fiber as well as steel rebar, and they are poured with a minimum of 6,000 psi concrete. At no extra charge every storm shelter comes equipped with a double handrail on the metal steps, a gas operated door closer, 8" wind turbine for ventilation and a 6" vent.

Concrete Safe Rooms
When you want protection for your loved ones, you can't beat Hausner's tornado / storm shelters for protection against inclement weather. All of their concrete saferooms meet or exceed the industry standards for safe rooms and tornado / storm shelters. Hausner's concrete saferooms have 4" thick walls and are poured with a rebar cage. They have a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts. It swings outward and can hinge left or right. They are perfect for new builds and can easily be built around for a closet, pantry, or panic room etc.

Metal Safe Rooms
Hausner's Metal Saferooms have a 3/16 outer skin and a 12 gauge inner skin. They have a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts and can swing inward or outward and can hinge left or right. the safe rooms and tornado / storm shelters in Oklahoma meet or exceed the industry standards and are built to protect your family. They are typically installed in existing garages, but are great for new builds as well.
