History of Derksen

Derksen buildings has been around since 1995 and has quickly become the most trusted brand in portable buildings in america! the way they are built is with a mennonite craftsmanship style. the buildings that are offered are built with quality in mind which is important when you are in the market for a building and want something that will last for years to come!

Styles

Derksen provides a building that will be the perfect for anyone! There are 19 different styles. each of these can be customized such as doors, windows, insulation, electricity, and more!

Barn

Derksen buildings iconic look is the barn. the barn has a roof that slopes more than the others. THe barn has 4 foot side walls.............ask about the height........................... the length comes in 3 different sizes, 8, 10, and 12 feet. the width has more variation coming in 4 different options, 10, 12 ,14, and 16 feet. The standard barn has 4 options for the building materials, painted wood, treated wood, urethane wood, and metal.

Lofted Barn

The lofted barn is one of the most popular builds is the lofted barn. the lofted barn has a loft at each end. the size of these depend on the length of the building.  The smallest size is an 8x12 and the largest is 16x50! They get very big, so the right size for you can be found! The building materials are the same except Z-metal can be added. Z-metal is vertical!

Side Lofted Barn

The side lofted barn is the exact same as the lofted barn plus a couple of tweaks and additions. As in the name, the doors are on the side. This option also comes with two windows. If you wanted to convert this into a workshop or something of that nature then it would be excellent with the natural sunlight. the building comes in the same material options as well.

Cabin

Next up is the cabin! The cabin comes with a 4 foot porch and 3 windows. It also has a 9-light 36" wide door on the front to give a nice home feeling. THe materials are painted, treated, urethane, and z-metal. the size is anywhere from an 8x12 to a 16x50.

Side Cabin

The side cabin is the same as the regular cabin. The porch and entry door are on the side, and the materials that can be used to build it are the same as well.

Lofted Barn Cabin

The loft is back! Now it is the same as a cabin but has more room to store your things. The materials, windows, door, and porch are still there as well.

SideLofted Barn Cabin

Like having the lofts but the layout of a side cabin would work better? Then here you go! The side lofted has the same options as well as the previous three!

Deluxe Cabin

The deluxe cabin has an upgrade to the porch as it wraps around in the front! This also comes with three windows and the door!

Deluxe Lofted Barn Cabin

The deluxe lofted barn cabin is just the deluxe cabin and lofted cabin combined! super spacious and nice looking!

Utility

The Derksen utility building is a great option to store your things! THe walls come in at 8 foot tall and have a shop door! If 10 foot or wider then it will have a double shop door! The building can come from 5 materials, z-metal, metal, painted, urethane, and treated!

Side Utility

The side utility is practically the same but comes with the doors on the side such as the lofted barn!

Cottage Shed

The cottage shed has one of the most unique looks made by Derksen! There is a traditional cottage style roof for maximum head space as well as one window! If the size is 10x16 or larger then the structure will come with 2 3x3 windows! there are 4 options in the material which are painted, treated, urethane, and z-metal! The largest size is a 10x20 and the smallest is 8x12!

Metro Shed

the metro shed was made to fit in the tighter spaces that a different Derksen building won't! The metro shed does not come with any windows but can be added! the door size is a 36" wide or a 48" wide on 7 foot or 8 foot wide buildings! They can be as small as a 5x8 or as big as an 8x12! They can either be painted or urethane!

Metro Garden Shed

The metro garden shed is a bit bigger than the metro shed! It can be as small as a 7x12 to a 10x16! The garden shed is also either painted or urethane. The Building does not come with any windows but they can be added!

Metro Garage

THe metro garage is perfect if you need a garage style building in a smaller area! It can go anywhere from a 7x8 to an 8x16! It is the same as the other metros.

Portable Garage

The portable garage is on of largest buildings produced by Derksen. It comes standard with a window, door, and the 9' rollup garage door. they can be made out of treated, painted, urethane wood, and Z-metal. The smallest is still big, coming in at a 12x20. The 16x40 is the max size that it can.

Dog Kennel

Now it is time to get into the recreational items. The first one up is the dog kennel. these are extremely unique. they can 1,2,3, or 4 runs for your best friends! The size varies from an 8x12 to a 16x50! They can be built out of urethane or treated wood! They even come with a miniature house for your dog!

Victorian Playhouse

The victorian playhouse has a very unique roof design and is the perfect spot for your kids to play around! It comes with three windows, a small door, and a regular sized door! It can be painted, or urethane. There are three sizes which are an 8x12, 10x12, and the 10x16.

Hideout Playhouse

The hideout playhouse is the same as the Victorian but the roof style is just an A-frame coming to a single peak! It also comes with a porch unlike the Victorian but has the same doors and windows!

Cabana

And last but most certainly not least is the cabana. The cabana is a perfect spot to hang out with friends or family the next time they are over! It is only available in treated wood but there are many sizes to choose from! They start out at a 10x12 and end at a 16x24!

Another one is the warranty. The warranty is a five year limited warranty on workmanship and materials.
